Roadscanner helps travellers find the most affordable, practical way to make a journey by comparing government buses, private buses and trains in one place.
What we do
Planning an intercity trip in India often means checking a state transport site, several private bus apps and the railway separately. Roadscanner brings those options together, shows the total fare in rupees and the practical details that matter, then hands you to the provider to book.
How our data works
- Sources. Every result names its source. We only use data we’re authorized to display.
- Freshness. Each result shows when it was last updated, and older data is flagged.
- Demo vs live. Until provider partnerships are live, results are clearly labelled Demo data. Demo results are illustrative and can’t be booked.
- Grouping. If two sources list the same service, we group them and show the lowest fare.
- Trains. Train search is designed to connect through an authorized IRCTC integration once approved. We never scrape IRCTC or ask for your IRCTC login.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell tickets, take payments or store passenger identity details. Booking, cancellation and refunds are handled by the provider.
