My idea is to develop Roadscanner as one platform for planning a complete journey, from leaving home to reaching the destination, including travel, food and stay. A passenger could compare auto or cab prices to reach the bus station, compare government and private bus fares for the main journey, and find another auto or cab after arrival.
I want to bring in price comparisons across services such as Rapido, Uber and Ola for autos and cabs, and Zomato and Swiggy for food, subject to the required integrations. I also want to include hotel comparisons with similar room facilities and booking conditions, and railway options in the future.
For food along the journey, local food stalls and restaurants on bus routes could register with Roadscanner. Passengers could check upcoming stops, view menus and prices, and order in advance so their food is ready at the selected bus stop when they arrive.
By bringing these options together, passengers could estimate their total journey cost and choose according to their budget. My aim is to make travel easier and more affordable, while helping transport operators fill empty seats and giving local food businesses more opportunities.
I also want Roadscanner to encourage local tourism by helping travellers discover temples and places to visit near their destination, with opening and closing times so they can plan their visit and support local businesses.
I also want to include paid bike-taxi comparisons and a separate Community Lifts option, where people travelling in the same direction can voluntarily offer a free lift to help someone along their journey.

This is our development vision. Only the bus and train search exists today, and it shows demo data. All other services are planned, not currently available. Named providers are examples of intended comparisons; no partnerships are announced.
